I have a court date for arraignment – now what?

I have discussed what happens at the first court appearance and what an arraignment is.  The question still remains – what do you do if you’re facing a criminal charge and about to be arraigned on the charges?

The criminal justice system is now in full effect.  Yes, you have the right to represent yourself, but do you really want to?  You are facing a prosecutor – someone that has legal training and is paid to prove the charges against you.  They are about to set bail – a procedure that could determine if you go home or if you get taken to jail.  Legal options that are available to you are only available at the first court appearance.  Before you face charges on your own or just agree to a public defender to see what happens, it is in your best interest to contact an attorney experienced in criminal procedure to protect all your legal and Constitutional rights.

I am available any time.  Contact my office for a free consultation.
